Kushanas, Kanishka I, c. 127-152 AD, AV quarter dinar, 2.02 g. (13 mm). Obverse: diademed and crowned half-length bust of Kanishka left on clouds, holding spear, flames at shoulder; with Bactrian legend around ÞAONANOÞAO KANhÞKI KOÞANO Reverse: AΘÞO to right, Athsho standing left, holding diadem in extended right hand and resting left hand on hilt of sword; tamgha to left. A very rare fractional coin.
AU, Lustrous with an attractive high relief, well-centered, with very impressive and dramatic flowlines that radiate like an explosion from the bust towards the rim.
