Sasanian Kingdom, Shahpur III, 383-388 AD, AV dinar, 7.26 g. (22 mm), Sind district mint. Obverse: bust of King Shahpur right, wearing flat-topped crown with korymbos; Brahmi sri to right; pseudo-legend around. Reverse: Fire altar with ribbon and bust right in flames; flanked by two attendants, each wearing diadem.

F-VF, soft strike with semi-lustrous surfaces, light brushing on the obverse head., A rare type that was often struck from worn dies, for a similar coin, see Stephen Album Rare Coins auction 15, 2013, lot 33.
