Post Gupta, Bengal, Samatata region, imitative of Gupta coins, c. 575-625, AV dinar, 6.22 g. (21 mm). Obverse: representation of the archer type, king standing left, holding bow in left hand and arrow in right, standard with conch shell to left. Reverse: stylized female or goddess standing right within an inner circle, crude unread legend in left field, dotted border around. Kumar TOTGE 2024, 18.7, similar to coin 1038, conch standard anonymous issue.

EF, well-struck with strong details, even lustre across surfaces on both sides, very light scratches on the fields on both sides.
