Post Gupta, Bengal, Samatata region, in name of Vira Chandra, c. 575-625, AV dinar, 5.72 g. (21 mm). Obverse: stylized representation of the archer type, king standing left, holding bow in left hand and arrow in right, pseudo-Brahmi characters to right in two lines, Vira Jadamarah, border of dots. Reverse: stylized female or goddess standing right within an inner circle, holding an object, crude unread legend in right field, dotted border around.
