Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta, c. 415-455, AV dinar, 8.14 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type, king standing right, shooting arrow at lion right, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi sitting facing on couchant lion, holding diadem in right hand and cornucopia in left hand, tamgha in left field, Brahmi legend at right, Simhamahendrah.
