Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta, c. 415-455, AV dinar, 7.97 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type, king standing right, shooting arrow at lion right, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi sitting facing on couchant lion, holding lotus in left hand and scattering coins with right hand, tamgha in left field, Brahmi legend at right, Simhamahendra. Kumar TOTGE 2024, Class II, C.1.
