Kushanas, Shaka, c. mid-4th century, AV dinar, 7.80 g. (22 mm). Obverse: Shaka, standing facing, head with halo left, wearing conical decorated hat, sacrificing over altar and holding staff, trident with ribbons to left, with Brahmi inscription Shaka at right, and bhri under the king’s arm. Reverse: Ardoksho enthroned, facing, holding garland with right hand and cornucopia or long-stemmed lotus, tamgha left. Abut EF, an extraordinary coin on an unusually large flan.
