Kushanas, Vasishka, c. 247-265, AV dinar, 7.84 g. (19 mm). Obverse: Vasishka, standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar and holding staff; trident with ribbon to left, Brahmi letters to right, Bactrian inscription around. Reverse: Ardoksho enthroned, holding cornucopia and diadem, Bactrian APΔOXÞO to right, tamgha left, within dotted border.
VF, well-centered with underlying lustre showing through.
A rare coin that leaves much of the Bactrian legend on obverse legible; ÞAONANOÞAO BAZH-ÞKO KOÞANO, king of kings, Vasishka Kushan.
