Kushanas, Huvishka, c. 151-192, AV dinar, 7.74 g. (21 mm). Obverse: Crowned half-length bust left, halo around head, holding mace-scepter, with Bactrian legend around. Reverse: Nana standing facing with head right, holding scepter, tamgha in right field, with Bactrian legend NANA, dotted border around.
Fine-VF.
Nana was the eastern Iranian goddess worshipped by Bactrians, Sogdians, and Kushans, probably as a goddess of fertility, a pincipal deity and the head of the Kushan pantheon. Göbl obverse type XVII.
