Kushanas, Kanishka I, c. 127-152, AV quarter dinar, 1.78 g. (14 mm). Obverse: crowned, diademed full-body portrait of king left holding spear with left hand, flame at shoulder, Bactrian legend ÞAONANOÞAO KA NhÞKI KOÞANO (King of kings, Kanishka Kushan) around. Reverse: Buddha standing facing, hand raised in gesture, tamgha to right, Bactrian BOΔΔO in left field.
Fine, traces of earlier mounting. Extremely rare.
