BODHISATTVA MAITREYA, Thaïlande du Sud. Massif, debout tenant un bouton de lotus. Style Baphuong du 8e siècle. Une statue similaire est exposée au MET New York museum, où Maitreya est accompagné du Bouddha et du Bodhisattva Avalokisteshvara, celle-ci est datée de la seconde moitié du VIII siècle. Hauteur 21,5 cm BODHISATTVA MAITREYA, Southern Thailand. Solid, standing figure holding a lotus bud. 8th-century Baphuong style. A similar statue is on display at the MET New York museum, where Maitreya is accompanied by the Buddha and the Bodhisattva Avalokisteshvara, dated to the second half of the 8th century. Height 21.5 cm
