Great Britain, 1625, Charles I, 1625-1649, quarter unit or Gold Crown, group “A”, first bust, AV, 2.29 g. Obverse: CAROLVS D : G : MAG : BR : FR : ET HI : REX, crowned and draped bust left, wearing coronation robes, V value behind. Reverse: CVLTORES SVIDEVS PROTEGIT, crowned and garnished shield, five strings to harp.
NGC UNC details, noting “cleaned”, with a particularly crisp and detailed portrait, with some small metal flaws on reverse.
