1859 2 Gr. plate I, blue (shades), used reconstruction, with positions 4 and 9 missing and 16 positions present in duplicate or triplicate copies. 118 used stamps in total. With all of the better retouches of this plate that are catalogued in Sassone. Pos. 77-78 in an attractive pair. Generally, full-margined examples, with a few cut close and some showing sheet margins. Mostly attractive stamps with strong, fresh colours overall and most with dealers’ or experts’ signatures or handstamps, mostly Diena. An impressive, nearly complete plate reconstruction with stamps in superb quality (118).
