Partial Used Reconstruction of the 1 Grana Plate One

1859 1 Gr. plate I used reconstruction, with 12 positions missing, and 22 positions in duplicate or triplicate examples; pos. 11-12 in pair and pos. 78-80 in an attractive strip of three. 112 used stamps in total. Stamps showing many of the retouches that are catalogued in Sassone for this plate, such as the notable pos. 27 and 34. Generally full-margined examples, with a few cut close in places. Mostly attractive used stamps with good, fresh colours generally and most with dealers’ or experts’ signatures or handstamps, e.g. Diena or Asinelli. A very impressive attempt at reconstructing this difficult plate with stamps in mostly very good condition (112).
