Lot 30015 – Sicily 1859 outer letter sheet registered with 1/2Gr (12) and a 10Gr

1859 1/2 Gr. plate I, orange (arancio), twelve examples composing of two pairs on obverse plus single 10 Gr., and on reverse a further pair and strip of six, the stamps on reverse are from positions 11-12 and 13-18, one of the pairs on front 19-20 and as such very rare to have a complete row on any cover, all on 1859 (21 Mag) large part cover (90% complete) from Messina to Vittoria, paying the 1-ounce domestic registered rate.

A unique franking and a major rarity.
