Lot 20135 – GB 1867-80 Spray 2s brown, a fresh mint pair NF-NG
1867–80 2s Brown Spray Fresh Mint Pair (NF–NG) — Exceptionally Rare
A very rare and highly desirable multiple, this mint pair (NF–NG) retains large part original gum, with only a small hinge remainder at the top and a faint natural bend on NG. A couple of split perforations are noted between the stamps, but the pair retains excellent colour, fresh appearance, and fine overall condition.
Seldom encountered in this format, it is among the few recorded unused multiples of the 2s Brown.
