Description

1840 2d Pale Blue, Plate 2, EA–EB, extraordinary horizontal pair. Large to enormous margins, including parts of four adjoining stamps, cancelled by light orange-red Maltese Crosses. EA with a light pressed crease. A fine multiple (or EB would make a superb single). Particularly attractive for the large-margin connoisseur.
