1840 1d Black, Plate 6 (AA–BB) Used Block of Four




A very fresh and striking used block of four from Plate 6, positions AA–BB, displaying good margins and lightly struck Maltese Cross cancellations, enhancing both clarity and visual appeal. A faint pressed crease is noted on AB–BB, typical for multiples of this period, but it does not detract from the overall handsome appearance.




A rare and highly desirable multiple.
