1840 1d Black, Plate 1b (QE–QK) Horizontal Strip of Seven, Used




An exceptionally rare and appealing multiple, this horizontal strip of seven from Plate 1b (QE–QK) displays good to large margins all round and is lightly cancelled with red Maltese Crosses. Some creased and thin spots at foot which do not detract from the overall visual impact or scarcity of such a large multiple.




Highly desirable for both plate significance and display appeal.
