1851 2r, a small lot of production materials for only the 1851 2r issue, comprising six glass clichés in various colours of black, vermilion, and deep red-brown, some with production notes around the area of design and some with border coloured dark to focus the light in photographic exposure. A unique and attractive high-quality series of glass support clichés that provide a fascinating glimpse into Sperati’s photolithographic reproduction process.
