Spiridon Louis), 11 postcards/photo cards of notable people who contributed to the Games incl. King George I, George Averoff, Demetrius Vikelas (first president of the IOC, incl. postcard written by him), D. Sakorrafos (“father of the idea of the issue of postage stamps for the Frist Olympic Games”), and several items relating to Albert Meyer who was a significant photographer at the Games (incl. photocard showing the wrestling finalists and a photocard portrait signed by him with original wrapper).
