1930 World Cup in Uruguay silver runner-up medal awarded to Juan Evaristo of Argentina, a wing half-back who with his brother were the fist siblings to play in a World Cup final, with design by Abel La Fluer showing the goddess of Victory Nike with inscription “COUP DU MONDE” at top, the reverse at the top inscribed “MONTEVIDEO” with a large olive crown at centre, within the inscription “JUAN EVARISTO”, at the bottom inscribed “JUILET 1930”.
