1898-1940s, RAILWAY STAMPS: Three covers and four unused, incl. 1898 cover with 1881 1d lilac from Edinburgh (Scotland) with North British Railway Co. 2d adjacent cancelled by pen cross, 1921 cover from Carlisle with KGV 2d with Maryport & Carlisle Railway Co. 4d on 3d tied by Mealsgate s/l & ds, undated cover with London Midland & Scottish 5d parcel stamp with Bangor overprint, and four London & North Western newspaper parcel stamps (1d, 2d, 3d & 6d, faults).
