Inland Revenue: 1882-1901 £1 brown-lilac (Orbs), AD-DD vertical strip of four from the upper right corner of the sheet, overprinted “I.R.OFFICIAL” in blue-black and each stamp overprinted “SPECIMEN” type 9, lovely fresh colour and superb mint NH, a major departmental rarity and stunning exhibition showpiece.
