1892 (Oct 17) hand painted envelope from Birmingham to Glasgow, bearing 1881 1d lilac, the stamp placed on reverse (as per written request by the sender) across the flap (not torn) and the front depicting a well executed hand coloured drawing of two well dressed Victorian gentlemen, with an additional piece inside from the same artist; a most attractive cover.
