1862 cover to Mexico bearing two 1855 1s green (one defective) plus 1862 3d to form the 2/3d rate, tied ‘159’ of Glasgow, via London, then onwards to Mazatlan, ‘2’ and ‘0’ applied for internal rates on arrival. A fine cover with Scottish mail to Mexico seldom seen.
