1840 2d blue pl.1 CG/DH block of 4, margins just touched at lower right, with the “317” Irish 1844-type numerals in blue of Macroom. A small scissor cut between the stamps at left and vertical crease through right hand pair barely detract from this unique and important multiple; cert. BPA (1984); ex Lord Vestey (S.G. SpecD1xd).
