1840 2d blue pl.1 AI-AL horizontal strip of four, with large margins and showing small portion of marginal inscription at top, on entire to Edinburgh tied neat strikes of black MC, small (natural) flaw on upper right of AL, backstamped ‘’30 11 41’’, clean and attractive, a very rare multiple cover.

Expertise: Cert. BPA (1993) and Karl Louis Provenance Certificate (2012).
