Description
1872 unique mixed franking of ½ groschen values in orange of Norddeutscher Postbezirk and Deutsche Reich, cancelled and tied by Tecklenburg 17.12 (1872), d.s sent to Osnabrück with circular receiving pmk 17.12.72 on verso. An exceptional combination to make the 1gr franking; attractive and very fresh entire, the Brustschild stamp has one short perf., otherwise very fine, illustrated in Krug and Ljungh, Mischfrankaturen mit Brustschildmarken, p. 58. Certificate Pfenninger (1962).
