1855, Letter from Aachen for Paris to a high-ranking French officer, with mixed French Empire and Prussia franking with 20c blue imperf. (Y&T n°14, four large margins) along with Prussia 6p orange (Y&T n°10) and 3s yellow orange (Y&T n°13), each tied by “1” numerals in a circle, Aachen despatch ds of July 24, reverse with July 26 arrival; signed Calves and Papadopoulos, cert. Brettl (2024) , Menozzi (2017) and Scheller (2024). Unique and one of the most beautiful mixed France/Prussia frankings known.
