Proof overprints in red on 1/2d green for the 5-line format of the low values: Specialised assembly neatly mounted and knowledgably written up on 8 album pages, showing singles some with varieties including double overprint, one albino (PR 8b; €300), “R” over “SE”, year date at top (PR 9; €250), year date missing (PR 9b; €600), fresh, very fine, and a very scarce assembly and an excellent basis for study and expansion (8 singles proofs). Hibernian PR8-PR9b; €2’200+.
