1744 (September 13th) Entire letter from Clonmel to Dublin, with enclosure 21 days’ signed draft for £326.00, showing a “Free Rich” Pennefather”, but disallowed due to the enclosure and rated “8” double and hand-stamped with a distinctive horseshoe “RECHARGED/I” and inspectors’ initials, an attractive showpiece.
