1673 (May 14th) Illegally carried letter written in Dublin by an Albert Conyngham to his cousin “Richard Murray of Broughtown Esq at his lodging”, with no charge raised, a scarce early letter. Note: Cromwell’s Act of June 1657 made all private posts illegal.
