Lot 50970 – 1883 Envelopes from the Count de Kergaradec at French
1883 Envelopes from the Count de Kergaradec at French Consulate in Bangkok to his wife in Angers, France, four different dated between August and September, 1883, each of these envelopes and their contents were most likely included in a larger parcel as in the letters he mentions sending her things: photos, newspapers clippings, etc., some minor creasing a d envelope faults, otherwise a wonderful addition to the historical correspondence. (Numbered “16”, “17”, “18” & “19” in crayon, being the code for each letter sent between the Count and the Countess)
Note: Each envelope is accompanied by letters of social and political interest.
