Lot 50969 – 1883-84 Envelopes from the Count de Kergaradec at French
1883-84 Envelopes from the Count de Kergaradec at French Consulate in Bangkok to his wife in Angers, France, four different dated between December 1883 and February 1884, stamps cut out and removed, each envelope shows “POSS.ANGL.” octagonal martime ds, with “MODANE PARIS” transit in red on front, plus “SINGAPORE” transit and “ANGER” arrival bs, some minor creasing otherwise a wonderful addition to the historical correspondence. (Numbered “27”, “28”, “29” & “31” in crayon, being the code for each letter sent between the Count and the Countess)
