Description
Sello Negro: eleven covers from October 1866 to July 1867 group. These are stampless from areas either outside of Maximilian control or which did not have stamps. They include Matamoros, Mazatlán (El Fuerte), Oaxaca, Chalchicomula, San Luis Potosí, Río Verde, Ciudad del Maiz, Otatitlán, Alvarado and Carro. Additional scans and images are being uploaded on a continuous basis, and the complete set of illustrations for all lots will be available by 1 June 2026.
