Description
Otumba 25c orange lithographed (consignment #100-1866, only 54 sent), “Mexico” overprint, touched at a small place at lower left with clear to large margins in other respects, on cover from Apam to Mexico dated December 28, 1866, tied by negative circular hs (Schatzkès # 24). This small consignment was in exchange for demonetized obsolete Eagles to Mr. Solares in Otumba. This cover is most likely unique. NF $ 500 as a single off-cover. Catalogue ref: Scott 29
