Lot 10556 – Mexico 50c lithographed Mexico Name Only used

Mexico 50c green lithographed “Mexico Name Only” used single, frameline just grazed at lower left otherwise good margins, slight thin. These stamps without the consignment number but with the gothic Mexico overprint were issued in exchange for Eagle stamps at the beginning of the issue. Only 53 were issued and very few have survived. A rarity of the issue. NF $1,000. Signed J. K. Bash.
