Lot 10545 – Mexico 13c + 25c lithographed on bicolor cover

Mexico 13c blue (consignment # 95-1866) and 25c orange (consignment # 109 error for 107) lithographed, both with large even margins, on cover to Zacatecas, dated October 28, 1866, tied by light strikes of the “FRANCO / MEXICO” cds, very fine.

Note: Invoice 109 had 10’000 engraved 25c consigned to Gudalajara. The 13c on this cover shows advanced plate wear in the oval frame and was the reason for the printing change.
