Lot 10497 – Campeche 50c lithographed on cover

Campeche 50c green lithographed (consignment #67-1866), showing clear to mainly large margins, on double rate maritime cover dated October 4, 1866 to Mexico City, carried by steamer “Ciudad Condal” to Veracruz and then by road to Mexico. Any 50c on cover is scarce, and very few covers have survived from this district. Cert. MEPSI (1984).
