1800 ca. Undated cover from Spain to Guatemala, struck at Cádiz with “España” postmark (Kouri type VIII) in black, and rated “4” Reales with corresponding marking, both applied in black, the latter paying the maritime (3 Reales) and inland (1 Real) fees. It may have most likely followed the Cádiz-Havana-Veracruz-Guatemala route. The “España” marking, struck in black, is so far unique on mail to Guatemala.
