1878, 300r green and orange, single franking on registered cover front with upper back flap (opened for display) from Parahyba do Sul to Rio de Janeiro dispatched on 23 October 1878; to our knowledge, the earliest “Auriverde” usage on cover recorded; single in different shade on registered entire letter from Ceará to Pernambuco dated 13.11.1878 (e very early usage).
