Description
1878, 300r ochre, imperforate plate proofs on India paper without gum, re-joined block of 16 comprising horizontal and vertical blocks of wight with complete ABN marginal imprint at base, originating from the bottom right corner of the plate, refulgent colour with the excellent crisp impression of the proofs, pre-printing natural wrinkles of the paper of no importance and small thin spot; as a re-joined block, the second largest multiple of the 300r plate proofs.
