1844, 60r black, type IIa, intermediate impression, two examples with mainly large margins tied by “Correio geral Da Corte” cds to back of September 25, 1848 entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Vila de Santa Barbara in Catas Altas de Matto Dentro (Minas Gerais); Stamps torn on opening as very often occurs in this issue. A scarce triple overland rate cover; letters bearing the “Inclinados” are scarcer than the covers with “Bull’s Eyes”.
