Lot 10162 – 1843, 30r black, worn impression, semi-xiphopagus used at Porto Alegre

1843, 30r black, worn impression, exceptional margins allowing the display of part of the neighbouring stamp at left and interpanneau frame lines at base, very attractively cancelled by black “PORTO ALEGRE/SUL” double circle (Ayres 1586). A superb example of the rare and desirable semi-xiphopagus.
