Lot 10154 – 1843, 60r black, intemediate impression, strip of three, “PENEDO” oval hs

1843, 60r black, intermediate impression, strip of three with predominantly large margins, being complete at top left, with each stamp showing a clearly legible strike of the framed “PENEDO” oval hs (Ayres 1393). Some small imperfections of little significance for this important multiple in an advanced collection of postmarks. Only seven “Bull’s Eyes” are believed to exist with this cancellation, with three represented in this, the largest multiple. (RHM $10’000 per single stamp).
