Description
1843, 60r black, intermediate impression, good to wide margins, cancelled by “DIAMANTINA” oval hs (Ayres 1290) and an additional postmark apparently showing “PARATY” (type unlisted in Ayres). Tear and crease in upper left corner; in case of being Paraty, this would be a unique usage, further enhanced by being a “Bull’s Eye” exhibiting two different postmarks. Catalogue ref: Scott RHM 2
