Description
1843, 60r black, early impression, enormous margin at left with pane frame line, clear to mainly large elsewhere, cancelled by framed “MARICA.” hs in green (Ayres 1356). Very light corner bend outside the frame line, only mentioned for accuracy. Just nine “Bull’s Eyes” reported with this cancellation in green, this being one of two recorded for the 60r; an exceedingly scarce colour on this issue. Signed A.
