1831 (July 1). Entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Saddleworth (England), rated at “3/7” and with docket of receipt “Sept. 22nd 1831” on front, struck on arrival in England at Falmouth with rare “Brazil/F” handstamp in green without date. Some soiling and corner fault at lower left, but a very scarce usage.
