Description
1807 (Aug 12). Entire letter from Bahia to Lisbon, carried at single maritime rate of 80 réis and endorsed “Careta”, denoting the Portuguese galley for the transatlantic carriage, struck with fine “Correyo Da Ba.” straight line in green. A very rare correspondence prior to 1808.
